Hi! It takes so much courage to come to therapy and to me, therapy is about the experience of getting to know ourselves again. So, I am so glad you are here! We live in such a fast-paced world and it is easy to get lost. I work with folks dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and those yearning to re- learn who they truly are.
I believe all of us have many different parts of ourselves. Some protect us, some help us succeed, some hold us back, and some keep us safe. Engaging in therapy with me is about the experience of loving all of our parts, even the ones we may say “I don’t like that about me.” In our time together, my hope is we can begin to tolerate, love, and have compassion for all that is you.
The lens I like to work out of is based on attachment. We will explore your history, family, current relationships, and how and why you operate in the world the way you do. I work from a trauma informed lens and may utilize Internal Family Systems, CBT, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, EMDR, and Narrative therapy.
